For travel advisors

Private Paris experiences your clients will still talk about a year later

I'm Mathieu. For ten years I wrote historical drama for French television, then I ran my own restaurant, the Lobster Bar, as its chef. Today I take travelers through Paris the way a screenwriter tells a story and a chef sets a table. Every experience is private, and your name stays on your client's trip.

Why advisors work with me

Private only

No strangers, no group to join. Your clients set the pace.

Written for them

Each tour is built around their interests, children and grandparents included.

Your name stays on the trip

I bring the stories and the tastings. The relationship stays yours.

The full collection

Ten experiences, each one a story. Book one, or combine two into a full day.

Napoleon and Joséphine

The North Marais. A young Corsican officer, a Creole widow with a past, and love letters that still make readers blush.

Victor Hugo and Les Misérables

The South Marais. Sixteen years on the most beautiful square in Paris, where the novel began to take shape.

The Founding Fathers in Paris

Saint Germain. Franklin, Jefferson and Adams on the Left Bank, to where the United States officially became a nation.

The Impressionists

Montmartre off the beaten path. Quiet staircases, a working vineyard, the corners where painters changed art forever.

Montorgueil

The living heart of Paris. A true market street, and the pastry house a royal pastry chef opened in 1730.

The Covered Passages

Paris invents shopping. Glass roofs, mosaic floors, old bookshops, and Vidocq's staircase.

Medieval Paris

Notre Dame reborn, the Sainte Chapelle and the Conciergerie. Eight centuries of faith and fury on one island.

The Cheese Vault

A 17th century cellar in Le Marais. Eight cheeses, four wines, two hours around one table.

Cruise Food Tour and Grand Cru Cruise

A private boat on the Seine, champagne and premium tastings. The Grand Cru adds a vintage boat and caviar.

Château de Fontainebleau

A full day trip to the palace Napoleon called the true home of kings.
